Oh - and here are
some
of our other Mediterranean Bread Recipes
Place
all the
ingredients in the bread pan of your Bread Maker
in the order listed
i.e.
Water - flour etc.
Select
basic dough and press start.
That's it - dead easy! Just follow the
instructions from step 9 onwards.
Now
by hand - In a warm bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together.
Add
the water
and mix.
Add the
olive oil
and mix to form a soft dough.
Knead for
about ten minutes on a floured surface.
If you're
making loaves - divide the dough into two or four equal pieces and
shape them any way you like.
Place on a
greased baking tray and cover with oiled cling film.
For rolls
shape into about ten rounds and cover as above.
Leave to prove
for in a warm place for 40 - 60 minutes or until doubled in size.
making sure you leave enough room for the dough to double!
Meanwhile
preheat your oven to 200ºc/400ºf/gas6.
Place the
baking tray in the middle of the oven for 10 - 15 minutes for rolls or
20 - 30 minutes for loaves. They're done when they're golden on top and
sound hollow when you slap their bottoms.
Let the bread
cool on a wire rack and you're ready to eat!
So
Good!
